Eyes on Christine by Greg Siegle and Lena Gemmer
“This picture was made by superimposing Deborah Aschheim’s gaze position, acquired 60 times per second for approximately 2 minutes, on her drawing “Christine,” which was displayed on a computer monitor. Time is captured by showing her earliest gaze positions in black, and using increasingly lighter coloration as time passes, so that the light tan represents her gaze position at 2 minutes.

Eyetracking was performed with an ISCAN RK786 eyetracker, and plotting was accomplished with software developed locally by Greg Siegle and Lena Gemmer, University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine.” -GS
