Custom pigmented tubing, hand sewn plastic bathmats, incandescent light, sensors, pocket televisions, magnifying lenses, CCTV
Neural Architecture no. 5 extended the neural networks for buildings outdoors and into public space. This Neural Architecture installation, featured an outdoor “Arborization” network based on projects I had exhibited in Belgium and London. Blood red tubing seeped out the Center’s windows, outlining the trees and lighting up whenever a pedestrian walked across the sidewalk.
